Windows 7 Account Access Lost!

I feel somewhat ashamed to say that somehow I have locked myself out of access to ALL files on of my user accounts on my computer. I can log in but can't even see the original desktop! Is there help for me?

hi and welcome to the forums

when you say you have "locked" yourself out, Do you mean you dont know the passwords, or have set a lock out timer if passwords are entered incorectly

also you can say you can login, What can you login into, Does this have administrator permissions?

Thanks for the response. The problem is now fixed. FYI It was an admin account. When I logged in, I got a temp user account only. Turns out The account "lost ownership" of itself. I gave it back ownership. All better.
