I uploaded the Ahnenblatt family program to see if it was ok for my wife to use ,, I am Swedish and she is German and because these languages were available as an alternative so that I could help her.
However, I run with my Swedish programs and now I have got Ahnenblatt's icon in front of my GED files.
How to remove Ahnenblatt's picture. It didn't work when I deleted the program and it is very annoying to get this picture when I haven't chosen it myself.

Hi! Im Swedish myself,bytheway!

but do you and your wife use separate computer-accounts?
If so.. Mabe you could try to associate your GED files with the software you prefer to use??

Try to bing on: associera program to find a solution for your computer account!

Just to clarify:

what do you mean by "GED files"?

Did the Ahnenblatt icon stay on the screen even after completely removing Ahnenblatt application from your computer?

Can you take a screenshot of it?

Please help me understand.

They are common genealogy files. They can usually be opened with different genealogy programs, but there could well be a generic which could do it.
I have no knowledge of the particular Church program the op is using, so cannot help with his issue.
