Hello there. I need help .
every time i restart my computer or postpond it, it pop ups again.
I think that it happend when I tried to install .net framework. cuz every time i would restart my pc i would get notice that i need to install it [ by some program . and it vanished when i removed a program from "startup" ... ] .
so i tried and it denied it and told me to set " turn windows features on or off " , so i did something with it [ dont know what ] and it procceded with installation of .net framework 3.5 . but at the end it game me an error . and thats it, from that point on i always get the" restart your computer to finish installing important updates " and there are no updates availible anyway .
Thanks in advance/

Make sure that the box is checked in turn 'windows features on or off' (see screenie)

I guess to get it to re-install you could try unchecking it then rebooting and checking it again. This hopefully will re-install it?

I tried. Every possible option [ http,non-http,both ] and then restart. but the box pops up anyway

Try running command prompt as administrator and then typing 'sfc scannow' (minus quotes) and then hit enter..

"verification 100% complete.
windows resource protection did not find any integrity violation"

Was it a Service pack it tried to install for .NET Framework?

Go to Start > Run, and type optionalfeatures.

Make sure Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 has a blue box.

Have you tried starting in Safe Mode, then restart normally

Just to see if if starts the installation again.

Is there a percentage of progress on this screen?
