Windows Vista Always wants to install software in French

Hello, I live in the French part of Switzerland and when setting up the Windows 7 I set it up in English with local settings, I've now changed that to UK but there must be registry entry since software still wants to install in French, the only thing left is the keyboard layout is set to French Swiss. Does anyone know what might be causing this.

I unfortunately have the SAME problem ! I changed the location to US but the problem persists. Does anyone know what registry key or system variable one has to change ?
