I am running the 64 Bit RC of Windows 7, and am having an issue...
My Athlon 64 X2 is seen by the system as a dual core CPU, but the system only seems to use 1 core...
CPUz shows it also as a dual core, and at the bottom for Processor 1 it shows 1 core and 1 processor...
Task Manager and resource monitor only show 1 CPU graph as well...
I have done both an upgrade from Vista Ultimate and a clean install, downloaded all updates etc.
Both have the same issues...
Vista Ultimate 64, Ubuntu Linux 9.04 and XP Pro all see both cores and utilize them.
I have set power management to performance and set CPU power management to passive and still no go.
Any and all assistance appreciated.
Thank You,
Dave
