amounts of BSOD's

Is it just me and my imagination or does windows 8 seem to have more BSOD's then windows 7 ever had. Surely I can't be the only one to see this or is it just an optical illusion on my part.

This thread may lead into a lot of posts!
I seldom got a BSOD with Windows 7. Those I did get were self inflicted.
So far, with a +/- a years use, I have not had any BSODs with Windows 8.

Yeah...I've not experienced any BSOD that weren't self inflicted as well...but the number of BSOD's with windows 8 seems to me to be a lot more then windows 7 ever had.
