Windows 7 B.S.O.D. After Hours of Being Turned Off!

Hello I built a computer back in January of 2010. Ever since I would get a blue screen on the computer after it had been turned off for awhile. Like I'll turn it off for the night (using shutdown in the start menu), go to bed, then come back from my college classes the next day, then I turn it on and log in. After that I will try to start Wow, Half-life 2, Crysis, or Counter-Strike, even sometimes Firefox. I'll be able to run the programs for about 2-5 minutes then the exe's stop responding followed by a blue screen. Then to get it to stop for the day I have to wait for it to get to the log in screen again and then click shutdown and turn it back on. I have tried reinstalling Windows 7 several times, have all updates installed, have all drivers installed and updated, I used memtest86 and all my RAM checked out. I used the manufacturer diagnostic tool on my hard drive, ran the disc check through windows and took it to geek squad and the hard drive checked out on all tests. I also got a new mobo several weeks ago and it still does it with that. I would appreciate any assistance.

Hi gman58

Sounds like a graphics driver issue to me, but.....

To help you out members need to see your Minidump files for error codes, outdated drivers etc.

GoTo C:\Windows\Minidump folder, copy the .dmp files to a folder on your desktop, zip that up and attach to a post.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start and type in sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box.
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.

Also: Important! Every thread starter please see.

AND Some system info would be to an advantage!! :)

Yeah I just saw they weren't enable and I did not see any .dmp files in my folder. I will be sure to upload them though the next time I catch the blue screen thank you for the info =)

KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR (7a)
The requested page of kernel data could not be read in. Typically caused by
a bad block in the paging file or disk controller error. Also see
KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR.
If the error status is 0xC000000E, 0xC000009C, 0xC000009D or 0xC0000185,
it means the disk subsystem has experienced a failure.
If the error status is 0xC000009A, then it means the request failed because
a filesystem failed to make forward progress.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000001, lock type that was held (value 1,2,3, or PTE address)
Arg2: ffffffffc0000005, error status (normally i/o status code)
Arg3: fffffa80071ea060, current process (virtual address for lock type 3, or PTE)
Arg4: fffff68000012000, virtual address that could not be in-paged (or PTE contents if arg1 is a PTE address)

Hello and Welcome to the forums. : )

I need your:

1. CPU-Z memory tab
2. CPU-Z SPD tab of EACH of your RAM slots
3. Crash dumps from C:\Windows\Minidump

Here is everything, the CPU-Z screen shots of my memory and slots and the latest BSOD DMP file. =)

RAM is the causer of your BSOD's <-- 100%:

3 sticks of Corsair and 1 stick of Patriot. They require different settings and cannot work together. Your RAM current settings match neither Corsair's nor Patriot's.

Remove the Patriot stick.

Yeah I removed the Patriot RAM, but the last two blue screens happened when I did not have it installed.

You see what I mean, right? Remove the Patriot if you haven't yet and then load setup defaults in the bios - so you get the memory set right.

Alrighty, I just removed the stick and went into my BIOS and hit load optimal defaults and saved it. I will give you an update later in the day. =)
I did notice something though, normally when I booted up Windows my splash screen would go dark but when I loaded the default settings it stayed lit up.

*sigh* I just got back from school, turned on my computer and got a blue screen trying to load Counter-Strike. Here are the CPU-Z Photos of my memory & slots I just took along with this BSOD's DMP file.

Also I have really appreciated all the help you have given so far =) thank you!

THE RAM FREQUENCY IS SET WRONG - 1212Mz while you need it 1333Mhz.

That's why I said "load setup defaults in the bios". Or set DRAM frequency "Auto". Or set it 1333Mhz.
