I have Windows 7 64-Bit, all updated. I have a bluray writer/reader. Windows can run the auto setup but cannot "Open in New Window" or "Open" to view files inside the disk. Just won't open even after I click "Open in New Window" or "Open."
I have tried about 30 disks (bluray, cdr, cdrw, dvd, etc) and none has worked and all are valid disks.
Any ideas?

Solution
Check Event Viewer to see if any errors or warnings are showing up about the bluray player.
Does the manufacturer have a website that might contain a FAQ or common troubleshooting tips?
Any bios updates for your system?
Does everything look normal in Device Manager? If it is listed, have you gone through the tabs after selecting properties to see if any options might be available?
