Only a couple of things I notice. One is you seem to have quite a bit of virtual memory for only having 4 GB or physical memory. Are you setting that number yourself?

I suppose you know you are using Central Australian time?

But are you using a third party software to play the Blue-Ray movies? Have you loaded any software that might interfere with your primary software?

thanks I have changed the virtual memory , dont know how that got changed .
the clock is correct
I use powerdvdplayer 12
I have another problem looming as explorer now keeps closing down and reopening

This might assist . the player runs correctly with a dvd but not a bluray disc.

I use PowerDVD 11 and seem to have not Blue-Ray problems. A new version might have a bug, any updates to the software? Windows 7 doesn't do Blue-Ray, so I might have to narrow the problem to PowerDVD or some codec it installs.

Any chance the DVD player you are using is causing the problem? Any updates for it, such as firmware?

Do all Blue-Ray discs have the same problem? I don't suppose Digital Rights Management is involved since you are in Australia?

Ever thought of getting more memory?
