Windows 7 Bornd Air Mouse

I've been intrigued for a while now by the idea of an air mouse, so when I saw one being sold at a fairly low price, I ordered one, however sadly, it came DOA. At least I haven't been able to find any signs of life, other than that Windows popped alerts that it had installed the driver successfully.

I'm going to return it, but before doing so, I would like to get some kind of idea if the low price was an indication of low quality, or if the luck of the draw was just against me? Is anyone else using one of these mice? If so, what brand, and what has been your experience with it?

I found the problem, the power switch was off. Don't laugh, it was quite well hidden. Even though I got it working, I don't know if I will actually use it much, because it is not very easy to control. Just trying to position the cursor on a checkbox is a challenge. Maybe if someone just wanted to use it as a pointer, rather than a true mouse, it might be okay. I'm glad I didn't spend a lot for it.
