I have Windows 8, and just installed a new update so I'm not sure if this has anything to do with that. I tried opening chrome and it just tries loading for a really long time and then comes up with the couldn't load page screen. After that I tried internet explorer and the same thing happened. All of the apps I have that require internet are working so I know I'm connected.

Solution
Run CCleaner & Malwarebytes and Internet Options, Delete/Delete. Then, uninstall the Net Adapter & reboot. Pls, report back after w/ any change or not.

Cheers,
Drew

You can also press the [windows key] to enter the metro screen and use the internet explorer from there... Microsoft allows this explorer to lock you out after changing the network connection files i.e. you could get a warning asking about settings and if so then the system browsers can't get out until these questions have been answered.
