Windows 7 BSOD when i connect to internet via 3G Dongle

I have a laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. It gives BSOD when I try to use my data card (Reliance). The error comes exactly when I click on "Connect" button.

Attached the dump files. Can some analyse and provide me a resolution.

I apologize for the delay in responding, but I have been scanning the forums and your post (among others) hasn't shown up. I'll contact a staff member to see if they can fix it.

Also, please provide this info in order to get a more complete analysis: http://windows7forums.com/blue-screen-death-bsod/38837-how-ask-help-bsod-problem.html

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Win7 systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): [DEL] DuplexSecure - FAQ [/DEL] Link broken as of 21 Jul 2012
New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).
Alternate link: Disc-Tools.com
Manual procedure here: Registry and SPTD problems | DAEMON Pro Help

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

John, Tons of Thanks to you for helping me in this with a detailed explanation.

I have attached the files generated out of diagnostic tool. Please get it analysed and try to spot what the exact problem is.

As of now, I have removed Daemon tools and sptd.sys drivers. I will look into the outdated drivers and get back to you if have any difficulties in doing that.

Thank you so much!!!

Only 108 updates since SP1 - most systems have 130 to 140. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates

Only 835 mB of RAM available - please do not run so many open applications at one time. If you must, then please upgrade to get more RAM

These devices need to have their drivers installed:
Not Available ACPI\SMO8800\1 The drivers for this device are not installed.

Multimedia Controller PCI\VEN_1131&DEV_7231&SUBSYS_0B071461&REV_AA\4&4860BB6&0&00E0 The drivers for this device are not installed.

The first device is normally the accelerometer/drop sensor.
The second device will depend upon the make and model of your system.

Once all this is done, please post back and let us know if the system still BSOD's when you click on the "Connect" button.

I have removed Daemon tools, sptd.sys drivers and McAcfee anti-virus too. It seems the BSOD stopped.

Anyway I will try to rectify all the driver issues. I'm still having troubles in finding the latest drivers for the missing and outdated ones. Please see if you can get anything for mine.

Many thanks for the help!!!

Just do what you're able to do.
We'll see what happens and then will make choices/updates based on that.
Good luck!

Thank you !!!

I will do whatever i can and then Grab all the system information like what i shared before. Then review it and let me know how the system/drivers statuses are...

I have updated all the drivers I can.

Installed windows update
nusb3hub.sys
nusb3xhc.sys
dtsoftbus01.sys - removed
Not Available ACPI\SMO8800\1 The drivers for this device are installed.
Multimedia Controller PCI\VEN_1131&DEV_7231&SUBSYS_0B071461&REV_AA\4&4860BB6&0&00E0 The drivers for this device are installed.

I have now attached the zip with all the system info. Can you please review and let me know how is the status of my system and drivers?

Thanks!!!!

I get the driver info from the memory dump reports.
Let's just wait and see if there's any further BSOD's.

Thank you so much!!!

I'm not getting any BSOD after I did the above updates. Hurray!!!

Just wanted your confirmation that I have all the drivers installed and are up to date. Can you please....?

Thank you !!!!

and I would like to quote your line here...

My many thanks to usasma, who has been a helpful teacher in BSOD Analyzing!
