Manually Updating Graphics Driver: - When you manually updated the driver and encountered issues, it might be due to not removing the previous driver completely. Here's what you can do: - Uninstall the current display driver completely. - Download the latest driver for your ATI 3450 from the manufacturer's website. - Install the new driver after a clean uninstall. 3. Device Manager Update: - If you are getting the error "The System Cannot read from the specified device," it could be due to a corrupted driver installation or a hardware issue. To resolve this: - Uninstall the driver. - Use a driver cleaner tool to completely remove any remnants of the driver. - Reboot and try reinstalling the driver through Device Manager. 4. Other Considerations: - Check for any pending Windows updates that might provide a solution or fix for driver conflicts. - Ensure that the driver you are downloading is the correct one for your specific graphics card model and Windows 7 version (32-bit or 64-bit). Try these steps and let me know if you encounter any specific errors or difficulties along the way. I'll assist you further to get the driver updated successfully so you can enjoy playing Need for Speed: The Run.
