Windows 7 BSOD with R9 series

Well if you can wait a little while Nvidia will be releasing the 880. :D
http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/nvidia-to-launch-geforce-gtx-880-in-september.html

AMD CPU users also have this to consider. Recently both AMD and Nvidia graphic cards were tested to see which card works best with what CPU.
The results were that Nvidia cards performed the same regardless of chip used. The card worked the same whether it was a FX8350 or a i7 4770k.
AMD graphic cards on the other hand were discovered to work, ironically for AMD, best with Intel CPU's. AMD CPU's just don't have the grunt to get the best out of these cards.

Unfortunately I don't have the link for the test but if i find it again I'll post it up.

I'll check the 880 but i'm afraid about it's price ^^
I don't really know if i can wait a month, indeed i can't use my PC without a graphic card :/

Edit : Find an idea of the price : 560€ so around $650 USD i think.. A bit too much for me ^^

Hi Kemical , i checked my second windows ( the old one so) , and the options were stuck on kernel dump.
Is there a change now in the dump files ?

Still the same... Hows the RMA going?

I was waiting to receive a new discounted MB ( Gigabyte 970A-DS3P ) to send back the R9.
I have installed it this morning , no crash for the moment.. I'll update further..

EDIT 08/28 : Still no reboot.. :D

Hi Azrael,
two different dumps. The above is blaming a Huawi modem driver and the other dump file was a Bugcheck 3B blaming the ATI HD driver.
I also found this in your driver stack:
