I want to use the feature of System Restore Points but I don't want to use Volume Shadow Copies.
Is it possible to disable the first but let the second feature be enabled?
From what I read so far it does not become clear if this is possible at all.
Are VSC a pre-condition to use SRPs?
If NOT: How exactly can I disable VSC but let SRP be enabled?

Hi Peter,
The two are connected so I'm pretty sure you can't turn off one without turning off the other. See this short FAQ:
