Windows Vista Can the Win 7 Firewall be configured to block programs from accessing the internet

I was doing that with my McAfee software (which came with my AT&T Service) but AT&T isn't compatible with 64 bit OS's yet (WTF!) And I tried to Download ZoneAlarm's free firewall, but they don't support Win 7...

....Sooo, after a long explanation - I need to block certain programs from accessing the internet on their own - Can I do that with Win7?

Thanks for any help!

Yes you can. Open Control Panel\Windows Firewall\Advanced Settings\Outbound Rules...

Create a rule for which ever program you need with the appropriate settings.

You could also try something like Comodo CIS which works well under 7.

I agree. You can set the Windows firewall as Quill has stated. You can also grab Comodo here for free. Nice and easy firewall program with very good ratings.
