IDE cables have 3 plugs on them, One end for the MB, and two devices can be plugged into one slot on the motherboard. Is this possible with SATA? I have never 'seen' a SATA cable with places for two devices and I wondered if this is possible and are there cables available to plug two devices into one slot on the MB?

Thanks....

Yes, I know/knew a E-SATA is a option but I was wanting to have more internal hard drives. I guess I will get a external drive docking station.

You can get just about any combination you want. Remember, Google is your friend. PCI to SATA

If me, I would look for SATA III cards - harder to find, but will carry you further into the future.
