I just got windows 7. I downloaded a file. It's sitting on my desktop. I cannot delete it. If I move it to the recycle bin, nothing happens. If I right-click and press "delete" I get an error message that says "the file is no longer located here". It's says the file has 0kb. If I try to rename it, I get stuck in this infinite loop of getting an error message every single time I click on anything. Even after trying to re-download the file, I just get a new version of it on my desktop that works and deletes just fine. How the hell do I get this stupid file off of my desktop?
I found that Unlocker actually works. The file is history! It couldn't find the file, but it gave you an option on what to do with it, so I chose Delete and it was gone! YES! Thank you to the person who gave that suggestion.
Unbelievable. In spite of my previous post, within another halfhour a bad rep point has been given to me, for the same original post, by a member with an obviously juvenile mind.
But go ahead and enjoy yourselves, you are supporting my views!
But www.deletelongfile.com is stolen version of Path Too Long Utility from www.pathtoolong.com. You will not receive support or software update there, so you'd better go to the original version provider.
