I have had this issue for awhile am I cannot find a permanent solution. I have an external drive that I use across computers for samples and I can never get it to stay at the same letter (R
, forcing me to change it in the disk manager each time it happens.
It can stay on the drive letter for long periods of time but at some point it will change, especially when going to another computer.
Is there something I am doing wrong? Is there a way to get the external drive to keep the same letter no matter what?
