Windows 8 Can't get past "Enter password to login onto network (go online)"

Have tried to install Win 8. Presently running Win 7 (single PC).

Everything goes fine until I come to input screen asking for password to either "login to network" or "login to go online" (don't remember exactly).

Have no idea what this password is. Can anyone tell me what is going on here and how best to determine the required password.....

Hi Wizzzard,

it sounds like it's asking if you have a Microsoft account, y'know for email etc.. If you have a Hotmail or Outlook account then use your log on details for windows 8 and you'll be instantly plugged into your media apps. If you don't have a Microsoft account then it's extremely easy to make one also you can use Win 8 without an account but for a more immersive experience it's better to have one.
