What can I do?

My win10 installation seems to have died this morning. I can't rescue it, repair it, go to a restore point or put an image on - nothing works.

So I tried to install a new Win10 but got a message that it couldn't be installed because that chosen disk and partition (the very one with the old win10 install on) was GPT style and therefore it couldn't install to it !

I don't understand.

Any clues?

I would remove the partitions from the custom install option. It should install afterward.

I don't understand that. You mean remove the partitions from the disk onto which I wish to install?

I'd sooner buy a new drive and start afresh. Gonna start a new thread... I've now crashed another machine..
