I have 2 computers and one has favorite icons to match the site and the other computer just has Internet Explorer icons. So how can I make my computers favorite icons to represent the site because they are easier to recognize?

Solution
To customize the favorite icons (also known as website favicons) in Internet Explorer for easier recognition, you can follow these steps on each computer: 1. Locate the Website Favicon: - Visit the website for which you want to change the favorite icon. - Look for the small icon displayed in the address bar before the website URL. This is the favicon representing the site. 2. Save the Favicon Image: - Right-click on the website favicon. - Choose "Save image as..." to save the favicon image to your computer. 3. Rename and Resize the Image: - Rename the image if needed to make it easier to recognize. - Resize the image to a suitable favicon size. Favicon sizes are typically 16x16 pixels or 32x32 pixels. 4. Change the Favorite Icon in Internet Explorer: - Open Internet Explorer on your computer. - Click on the star icon in the upper-right corner to open the Favorites Center. - Right-click on the favorite for the website you want to customize. - Choose "Properties" from the context menu. - Click on the "Change Icon..." button. - Browse to select the custom favicon image you saved. - Click "OK" or "Apply" to save the changes. 5. Refresh and Verify: - Close and reopen Internet Explorer to see the updated favorite icon. - Check the Favorites Center to ensure the custom icon is applied. By following these steps on both of your computers, you can personalize the favorite icons in Internet Explorer to match the websites, making them easier to recognize and differentiate between different bookmarks.
