All of the contents of my folders e.g. lists have had their colour changed to blue- previously it was black. I do not know how this has happened but can I change it back and if so, how?

Solution
Apparently this happens when you compress folder files- they change to blue. Normal files remain black. So unless someone knows a registry hack to change the colors, it looks like you are stuck with blue or black.
Desktop > right click to personalize > at bottom of screen click Windows Colors
Make the desired changes, make sure you "Apply" them and recheck.

Thank you, but this only seems to work in changing background colours, not text colours.
