One of my HDDs was doing incredibly slow today what made me run chkdsk in the command line. It says that there was an error in a file with the number 337105 - so I would like to know which file on my harddrive this is.
Do you know how to find out what files are concerned according to a given number?

thanks

There could be a number of reasons why your HDD is slowing but in any case this link will help with the chkdsk logs:

You could also try running a system file scan which will try and repair corrupt files. In a admin command prompt type:
sfc /scannow
Press enter and await results.

Try running a defragmenter. This is my personal favourite as it's better than the usual Windows one and is pretty quick:

(plus it's free)
