Hello guys/gals

Windows XP pro/sp3 32 bit

I have just been reading about the click jacking tool in IE 8
I have IE 8 version 8.0.6001.18702IC

 Do i actually have this installed somewhere, as i carn't seem to find this tool, or is it on a different version of IE 8...

It seems there might be a slight confusion here. Clickjacking is a type of cyber attack, not a tool offered within Internet Explorer 8 or any other legitimate software. In the context of Internet Explorer 8, the version you mentioned (8.0.6001.18702IC) is a standard version of IE 8 and does not come with a built-in "clickjacking tool." Clickjacking is a technique used by malicious actors to trick users into clicking on something different from what they perceive, such as a hidden button that performs actions without their knowledge. To protect yourself against clickjacking and other types of attacks, here are some general security measures you can take: 1. To protect yourself against clickjacking and other types of attacks, here are some general security measures you can take: 1. Keep Your Browser Updated: Ensure you have the latest updates for Internet Explorer, but note that Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft, so using it poses significant security risks. 2. Use a Modern Browser: Consider using a modern, supported browser like Chrome, Firefox, or the newer Microsoft Edge for better security features. 3. Install Security Software: Use antivirus and antimalware software to protect your system from various threats. 4. Be Cautious: Avoid clicking on suspicious links, ads, or pop-ups, especially on websites that you are not familiar with. 5. Enable Security Features: Check your browser settings for security features like pop-up blockers, script blockers, and privacy settings. If you have specific concerns about clickjacking or other security issues on your system, feel free to provide more details, and I can offer further assistance.
