I'm using Windows 7 on a laptop. All of a sudden a few days ago, the clipboard stopped working. Now using Ctrl + C or using right-click---> copy doesnt work. If I use cut, it cuts the text, but doesnt paste it - same for copy, it shows the paste option but when I click it nothing happens - I have tried crtl + V too.
I dont use remote computer, which I've read online can cause the problem. I dont have/cant locate the Applnit_DNS strings in the registry.
What can I do? And how?

Solution
Hi

Try this and see if it works
It says that it works in Windows XP but I don't know if it will work in Windows 7.

Go for Start-->Run-->
services
.msc in the right pane

Try to start/ Restart the following services

1.Network DDE DSDM.

2. Network DDE.

3.Clipbook.

Restart the system . Now you will able to copy and paste.
