Hello,

I have a program to simulate things like logic electronics which gives a result of the signal. (logicworks 5)
Everything works fine except that I can't copy and paste the result, I'm unable to select the results.
The result are graphical 1 / 0 signal lines.
I can copy all the components that I added to the schematic from the library and paste it nicely in word 2007 where it gets displayed as a picture.

I already searched google for answers but none where found.

The weird thing is that someone installed everything the same way as me and he can select and copy the results to word.
We used the same installation files.

I have windows 7 pro 64 bits.
He has windows 7 ultimate 64 bits.

It seems like you're encountering an issue with LogicWorks 5, where you're unable to select and copy the graphical signal line results to paste them elsewhere. This problem is specific to the display of the results within LogicWorks, and it might be related to how the software is interacting with your system settings. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve this issue: 1. Check System Display Settings: - Make sure your DPI scaling settings are set to the default level in Windows 7. Sometimes, high DPI settings can cause issues with selecting and copying graphical content. 2. Update Graphics Drivers: - Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause display issues in specific applications. 3. Run LogicWorks in Compatibility Mode: - Right-click on the LogicWorks shortcut or executable file. - Select "Properties" and go to the "Compatibility" tab. - Check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select Windows 7 from the dropdown. - Apply the changes and try running LogicWorks again to see if the issue is resolved. 4. Check for Software Updates: - Check if there are any updates or patches available for LogicWorks 5 that address this issue. Installing the latest updates may fix the problem. 5. User Permissions: - Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to select and copy content within the software. Check if there are any restrictions in place that prevent copying data. 6. Reinstall LogicWorks: - If none of the above solutions work, consider reinstalling LogicWorks 5. Remove the existing installation completely before reinstalling to ensure a fresh start. 7. Compare Settings: - Since your colleague can copy the results on their system, try comparing settings between your Windows 7 Pro and their Windows 7 Ultimate. There might be subtle differences impacting the functionality. By trying these steps, you may be able to diagnose and resolve the issue with copying and pasting graphical signal results in LogicWorks 5 on your Windows 7 Pro system. If the issue persists, considering contacting the LogicWorks support team for further assistance.
