For the last couple of months, when I leave my desktop unattended, I come back to a black background with a window in the middle that says "Could not initiate desktop rendering." I click on the OK box and my desktop reappears. Isn't really a problem, however would rather not have the box burning my screen. This seems to only have begun after installing the latest Win10 Pro version1607 build 14393.693. Any ideas?
Solution
Sounds like a failed piece of hardware, hard drive, RAM stick, or a GPU driver corruption. Please post back Make/Model of your computer and is it a desktop PC or a laptop? Self-built PC? Need HW specs.
Cheers!
