Windows 7 CPU run with no fan

OK now I know what your thinking but do you think I would be ok running a CPU without the fan to flash my bios so I can put in a newer proccessor all I am doing is turning computer on bring up bios flash it then turn it off and put new proccesor in. Thanks In Advance
