What is the way to add a custom property for folders?

This is what I want to do:
I have moved all my DVD's to my media pc. I would like to have a custom field for each movie folder where I can add tags like "Young kids" "Older kids" "Family" "Parents" etc so that I can sort the folders by those properties in Explorer.

If there is a better way to do this, I appreciate your suggestions.

Thanks!

You could just make a Libraries entry like “kids” then include each folder into the entry as needed?
An image from 'Custom Property for Folders'. Creating and adding a new library named 'kids' for organizing folders in Windows Explorer.

This doesn’t move any of the folders and doesn’t muck up any other program settings.
