    ]User Account Control (UAC) Settings:
    • Check your User Account Control settings. Adjust them to allow changes to the system settings.
  2. Reinstall Desktop Gadgets:
    • If the above steps don't work, you may need to uninstall and reinstall desktop gadgets.

Blu-ray Plugin Disappearing:

If your Blu-ray plugin has disappeared, you might need to reinstall the software, update drivers, or check for any recent Windows updates that might have caused the issue.

Additional Tips:

  • Ensure your Windows machine is up to date with the latest updates.
  • Create a system restore point before making any changes to your system settings.
Try these steps and see if they help resolve the issue with desktop gadgets and your Blu-ray plugin. Let me know if you need further assistance!
