Desktop Icon Name

    How can you change the icon title so that it becomes easier to see?

    so what are you saying...the font is too small or the icon?

    If you right-click on the desktop and hit 'personalise' you'll see written in the box on the left hand side 'Adjust Font size (DPI)'. You change the text size using that.

    Fonts fine. I need a contrasting backgrouns that doesn't get lost in the desktop color.

    Changed the Font characteristics to Bold

    I know this sounds like a dumb question but have you tried changing the background picture?

    No. I have a pleasing background of my home town. I fixed my problem by changing the font characteristics to a sans serif font and chose the bold version of the font.
