Windows 7 Desktop Window Manager Crash

Hi,

Whenever I am running windows 7 I keep getting a message that desktop window manager has stoppeed working. Before this the screen will flash on and off and aero will be disabled and then come back again. This happens at completely random times. Sometimes it happens twice in a minute or wont happen for a while. Disabling Aero stops the problem. I have installed the graphics card drivers from windows update and have tried both 64bit and 32bit versions. Both do the same things. The installation goes fine. I am dual booting with XP by partitioning my hard drive. My PC specs are below:

Athlon x2 3800+
2gb of Ram
Geforce 7900gs
Asus M2V-MX motherboard

I havent been able to find any other posts about this problem, so if anyone can help I would be grateful.

Anyone know what the problem is. Its getting really annoying!

This doesn't exactly happen to me, but whenever I open Adobe Fireworks CS5 DWM crashes. THen when I close it it comes back.
