I'm just curious but for those of you who setup Windows 7 on a new drive and did a drive format and install did Windows 7 use NTFS file system?

I read somewhere that there was going to be a new file system again, WinFS I believe.

Solution
WinFS is not a new file system, it's only a way of indexing data.
NTFS is the only filesystem supported for the Windows 7 OS. (Meaning it can read/write FAT and FAT32, but not install to them)
The default is still NTFS.

ya, you won't be seeing anything WinFS in Windows 7 unfortunately

Sorry my terminology isn't always up to snuff. Never listen to what I say or type in this instance listen to what I mean.
