As I found out the Intel Driver & Support Assistant starts automatically with windows.
How can disable this auto-start? There is no corresponding option
Moreover I would like to start the IDSA from USB flash drive in a portability mode.
Ii IDSA (som ehow) portable?
Peter

Solution
You can disable it by pressing [windows key + r] and type msconfig. Then go to the Startup tab and uncheck the box next to the Assistant tool.
Whether or not it's portable would require copying the tools content to a usb drive testing. It's unlikely it is without determining what it uses and whether or not you can simply copy it's dependencies to a USB drive as welll
