I have a new HP desktop running Windows 7 Home Premium and wanted to set up a schedule to defrag my disks. My machine came with one HD and I added the second HD which is my J drive. When I launch the defrag program all my dirves show on the front screen. When I go to create a schedule and select the drives to be defragged only the J drive shows in the window. When the program runs, only the J drive is defragged.
I ran a chkdsk on my C drive to remove any possible flags but that did not correct the problem. Anyone have any ideas?
