Hi,

The name is Aaron and I am having trouble with a command.

How do you display the Internet address, Physical Address and Type of a Ip Address.

Kind Regards,

Aaron

Solution
is it really an ipconfig command?
Don't know what else to say really . . .

1. goto command screen
2. enter ipconfig /all
3. read the out put . . . which includes IP address (layer 3 or internet address) MAC address (layer 2 or physical address and type (wired, wireless, virtual) plus loads more for each adapter.

Open the cmd prompt, type in "ipconfig"....with out the quotes and hit enter. The video shows all the other switches that you can use...if you need or want to.

ipconfig /all will show all the parameters you are looking for plus many more. There are not many switches to use with ipconfig:

What are you looking for which you say didn't show up?
