In this episode Chris Risner and Haishi Bai are joined by Anand Subbaraj, Senior Program Manager on the Azure Data Factory team. Anand joins us to talk about Azure Data Factory is a managed service which focuses on managing information production. This enables you to aggregate data from many different sources and produce a flow of analysis on that data. Using Azure Data Factory, data developers and data scientists are able to deliver results from analytics queries very quickly as opposed to taking months in the usual method of doing this. Currently the focus is on Azure and hybrid data movements (on premises SQL Server) but over time the focus will expand to include more storage and processing systems.
