hi everyone ,
couple of days ago i got a disturbing error which prevent windows 7 64bit pro to start.

After i startup pc i get this error :
Error: Cannot open volume for direct access.
Autochk cannot run due to an error caused by a recently installed software package. use the system restore feature from the control panel to restore the system to a point prior the recent software package installation.
An unspecified error occurred__766f6c756d652e63 3f1

after that error windows is tring to start up but all i get is black screen wit the mouse pointer.

Safe mode is working (only mouse - no Keyboard) but system restore isnt working.

i also tried to run Installation CD but it fail to complete the installation.

I have not seen that message. Do you know what software package it is referring to?

Have you checked into any of the current malware that seems to lock your system? Have you gotten any messages about paying to unlock the system?

You might try opening msconfig.exe and setting it to load just the Microsoft drivers. Maybe that would allow you to get into the normal system. You should be able to run it using the mouse since it is in the Windows\System32 folder.
