Hello I just recently mirrored 2 4tb hdds. If I where to add 2 more hdds to the mirror would that work ? Just trying to understand how to do that. Thanks

Solution
You could but all you get is more redundancy. A RAID 5 would be better (get you more storage) or since you have 4 drives if supported I would do a RAID 10 which is really just a RAID 1 + 0 which means you mirror pairs of disks and then strip them. This get's you the same mirroring redundancy and about 4 x read/write speeds.

Yes, it should work but if you want to use more than 2 disks you should rather use RAID 5 or 6 (more efficient), not RAID 1.
You can watch these video tutorials about RAID:

What RAID did you use for mirroring?

I used Raid 1 for the disk mirroring.
