Hey guys,

So I salvaged my hard drive from my old Lenovo U-430, got a caddy for it, and plugged it in. Everything from my old computer seems to be there fine but when i go to where the files that I actually want, it won't let me access them. I click on "Users," then on "Peter" (user where all of my files were saved to) and it comes up with a message saying: "You don't currently have permission to access this folder. Click continue to gain permanent access to this folder." So, I click continue, and it perpetually loads files from the folder. I have left it to load for over an hour with no luck, and instead stays like this:
An image from 'External hard drive help'. Windows File Explorer showing three user folders on the E: drive, with 'Peter' selected.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
