Stardock has officially released Fences 6, the latest iteration of its renowned desktop organization utility for Windows. This update introduces several new features aimed at enhancing user productivity and customization.
Key Features of Fences 6:

• Tabbed Fences: Users can now combine multiple fences into a single, space-saving tabbed interface, allowing for a more organized and efficient desktop layout.
• Color-Tinted Icons: This feature enables users to apply a uniform color tint to desktop icons, creating a distraction-free environment that can adapt to the desktop wallpaper.
• Enhanced Folder Portals: The Folder Portals feature has been improved, allowing users to mirror any folder on their desktop as a fence, including cloud storage folders, facilitating quicker access to important files.

Stardock initially released the Fences 6 beta in March 2025 and has since incorporated user feedback to refine the utility.
