Windows 7 File Sharing & Networking

Hello!

Scenario:
I have a windows server 2008 r2 @ my home. 100/100Mb internet connection.
On this server I have several files I want my friends to have access to.

Is it possible to set up some kind of connection so they can stream music, movies from it?

I do not wish for them to download the files from me, but stream instead.
