File upload application causes browser to freeze. Can't insert or attach files to emails and can't upload files from email or internet. This is happening in both Edge and Firefox with both AOL and Yahoo mails. I've tried disabling read only and clearing cookies and cache to no avail. This is with latest windows update but it has occasionally happened with previous versions too.

Disable Browser Extensions: - Disable any browser extensions or add-ons that might be interfering with the upload process. 5. Check for Browser Updates: - Make sure your browser is up to date. An outdated browser can sometimes cause compatibility issues. 6. Disable Antivirus: - Temporarily disable your antivirus software to check if it is interfering with the file upload process. 7. Check Browser Settings: - Review your browser settings, especially those related to file downloads and uploads. Ensure they are configured correctly. 8. Update or Reinstall Browser: - If the issue persists, consider updating or reinstalling your browser to ensure you have the latest version. 9. Scan for Malware: - Run a full system scan with your antivirus software to check for any malware or potentially unwanted programs that could be causing the issue. By following these steps, you should be able to identify the root cause of the file upload freezing issue in your browsers and work towards resolving it effectively.
