HELP! lol
If I'm running a game through the internet on Firefox and maximize it to full screen, it only stays that way for about 2.5 minutes before it automatically drops back to normal size. Not really a major issue, but quite an inconvenient pain in the @**. Also, when I'm typing, I notice that my window has "lost focus" but not in the traditional sense. It stays with the window I'm on (again, usually Firefox, or IE depending on whether I'm screwing around on games or actually being productive and doing my university courses), but the top bar goes the same as it would if the window was in the background with something else running in front of it. Not sure if this makes sense, but it's really frustrating lol

Solution
It sounds like you might be facing some annoying issues with your browser window behavior while running games and working on other tasks. Let's address these two problems:

1. Game Automatically Dropping to Normal Size after Full-Screen:

When a game or application automatically drops from full-screen mode after a short period, it usually indicates some conflict with display settings or the browser. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:
  1. Browser Settings: Ensure that your browser settings do not have any plugins or extensions causing interference with full-screen mode. Disable any unnecessary add-ons that might be affecting this behavior.
  2. Clear Browser Cache: Sometimes, a cluttered cache...

  1. Browser Settings: Ensure that your browser settings do not have any plugins or extensions causing interference with full-screen mode. Disable any unnecessary add-ons that might be affecting this behavior.
  2. Clear Browser Cache: Sometimes, a cluttered cache can cause display issues. Try clearing your browser cache to see if this resolves the problem.
  3. Full-Screen Mode: When running the game, try pressing F11 to enter full-screen mode instead of using the browser's dedicated full-screen option. This might help bypass any browser-related issues.
  4. Check Browser Updates: Ensure that your browser is up-to-date. Sometimes, outdated versions can have compatibility issues with certain applications.

    2. Window Focus Issue:

The problem you're experiencing with the window seeming to lose focus but not in the traditional sense could be related to how the browser interacts with other applications or windows. Here's how you can address this:
  5. Task Manager: Check the Task Manager to see if any background processes are consuming resources that might be affecting the focus of your browser window.
  6. Keyboard Shortcuts: Make sure you're not accidentally triggering any keyboard shortcuts that might be switching the focus away from the browser window. Check your keyboard settings to customize or disable any shortcuts causing this issue.
  7. Update Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up-to-date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause unusual behavior in applications.
  8. System Updates: Check for any pending Windows updates. Installing the latest updates can sometimes resolve unexpected behavior in applications. Try these steps to see if they help alleviate the issues you're facing. If the problems persist, feel free to provide more details for further assistance!
