I have installed Microsoft Flight Simulator X everything goes well and the game runs normal but there is no Air Traffic Control sound. The guys who give the pilot clearance for takeoff or land. Sometimes also in some specific planes there wont be engine sound if facing straight. i tried to install it and run it with compatibility feature as Windows XP.

Anyone have any idea why or a solution?

Thanks appreciate all the help.

    ]Compatibility Mode Adjustments:
    • Instead of Windows XP compatibility mode, try running the game in compatibility mode for Windows 7 or Windows 10. Different compatibility modes can have varying effects on game performance.
    []Run as Administrator:
    • Right-click on the game executable and select "Run as Administrator." This can help overcome permissions issues that might affect sound playback.
    [
    ]Verify Game Files:
    • Use the game's built-in verification tool (if available) or verify the integrity of game files through the game launcher or distribution platform like Steam.
    []Audio Settings Adjustment:
    • Check the in-game audio settings for specific options related to ATC sound and engine sound. Ensure they are not muted or set too low.
    [
    ]DirectX Installation:
    • Make sure that DirectX is properly installed on your system. Flight Simulator X relies on DirectX for proper audio playback.
    []Sound Device Selection:
    • Verify that the correct sound device is selected within the game settings. Sometimes the game may default to a different audio output device.
    [
    ]Third-Party Plugins or Mods:
    • Disable any third-party plugins or mods that might be interfering with the audio playback in the game.
  2. Sound Troubleshooting Tools:
    • Use Windows built-in sound troubleshooting tools to diagnose and fix any audio-related issues on your system.

      Additional Suggestions:

      • Check for any updates or patches released by the game developers to address sound-related issues.
      • Look for community forums or support discussions specific to Microsoft Flight Simulator X for any known solutions or workarounds related to sound problems.
Give these steps a try, and hopefully, one of them will help you get the missing sound back in your game. Let me know if you need further assistance or if you have any other questions!
