Windows 10 Free 3D animation software for Windows 10

My son wants to learn how to create 3D animation. Can anyone recommend some free starter software? If he takes a serious interest in then we can consider what ones to purchase. But what are some good ones to get started with.

And if there are any good tutorial websites you know of please let me know too.

Check this out, it's a great deal for a small amount of money, I use Poser 11 and 2014 PRO to do 3D Animation.
This looks like a great bundle for a beginner.
