Windows Vista Games in full-scree?!?

Hi, Matt here with another problem. I'm pretty new to Vista so go easy on me. I got a game called "Battlefield 2142" and when i play it, the graphics aren't fitting my screen.
My monitor is: SyncMaster 2252LW 22 inch. They have the graphics set up to only 1250x950 60hz on the game.
My screen can go up to 1680x1050 75hz.
Can someone help me get it full screen?

It has hints for enabling widescreen ect... I've heard 2142 goes up to 1792x1344 so you should be ok...
