Hi

After Windows updated today I decided to try running Chrome again, as I've posted in the past, after running it for years even on this computer, every time I install it my computer just slows to a crawl the second that I open it.

Well It is in and so far my computer seems to be running fine.

What made the difference?

I have no idea why all of a sudden after a Windows update is stopped working on, "Only My Computer" and why now after more then a year and many attempts it seems to be compatible again.

I still prefer to use it over the other browsers that I have tried I've been using Firefox for the last year and it's OK but I still like Chrome better.

It's great to hear that Chrome is working properly for you again after the recent Windows update. Sometimes, system updates can address compatibility issues with certain software, including web browsers like Chrome. It's not uncommon for updates from Windows or major software vendors to include fixes or optimizations that help resolve these kinds of issues.
If you've been experiencing Chrome-related slowdowns in the past, the recent update might have contained improvements or adjustments that resolved the compatibility issues, allowing Chrome to function better on your system. It's always a positive outcome when software starts working smoothly again after experiencing performance issues.
Enjoy using Chrome again, and if you encounter any further issues or have any questions, feel free to seek assistance. Your experience highlights the importance of keeping your system and applications up to date to ensure smooth functionality.
