Nvidia has released the 419.67 WHQL certified graphics driver.

CRD drivers are a new class of driver, alongside WHQL and Beta releases, that specifically improve performance and stability in creative applications such as Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Cinema 4D. Select Creator Ready Driver from the bottom drop-down box on the driver download page if you want to obtain these drivers.

This is the recommended driver for the early access release of the brand-new Intel® Graphics Command Center. If not already installed, this driver will add the Intel® Graphics Command Center to the system.

The Intel® Graphics Command Center (IGCC) is a software interface that provides consumers a modern design to optimize their visual experience – built on community feedback, and designed for simplicity and ease of use:


  • IGCC scans for installed games to provide 1-click optimization of in-game settings based on the user’s hardware, and the ability to create custom game profiles to directly tune individual game settings.

  • Additionally, IGCC helps consumers understand graphics settings with simple explanations and before-and-after images to recognize how each setting will tax their hardware.

Nvidia has released the 423.31 WHQL certified graphics driver. Everyone who has a 1060 and upwards can now use portions of RTX. To fully utilise RTX you need an actual RTX card but this driver will allow non RTX cards to at least use some of the funky visuals on offer.

Added Vulkan™ Support

  • VK_EXT_host_query_reset
    • Allows resets of queries from the host, rather than on the GPU.
  • VK_EXT_full_screen_exclusive
    • Gives applications explicit control over exclusive full-screen modes (this is for instance useful for HDR support).
  • VK_AMD_display_native_hdr
    • Exposes FreeSync2 capabilities for improved HDR support.
  • VK_EXT_separate_stencil_usage
    • Separates the usage flags for depth/stencil aspects of a depth/stencil image making it possible to restrict/expand the usage relative to the depth aspect.
  • VK_KHR_uniform_buffer_standard_layout
    • Provides more flexible alignment for uniform buffers, enabling among other things, the usage of std430 layouts in Vulkan.
Fixed Issues
  • Wireless VR may experience performance drops across multiple game titles on some Radeon RX 400 and Radeon RX 500 series graphics products.
  • Performance Metrics Overlay may fail to enable or may be disabled when toggling Radeon Overlay while in game.
  • A TDR may occur when exiting some gaming applications that are using DirectX®12 API when multiple displays are connected and in clone mode.
  • Microsoft® PIX tool may fail when a GPU is connected using AMD XConnect™ Technology.
  • Crackdown™3 may experience an application or game hang on Radeon R7 370 series graphics products.
